FA Cup: Quarter Final Betting

This weekend sees the Quarter Finals of the English FA Cup. 8 Teams will compete for the remaining 4 places in the next round
Looking at the recent history of the FA Cup in England an interesting statistic is very clear. Four teams have dominated the Cup in the last 21 years. Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea have won the cup 18 times during this period. On only 3 occasions did another team manage to win the cup. They were Tottenham in 1990/1991, Everton in 1994/1995 and Portsmouth in 2007/2008.
This Season, Only Chelsea remain in the competition to continue this trend and they are the favorites at the Bookmakers to win it
Aston Villa are 2nd favorites and they are followed by Tottenham and Birmingham City
In the First Game on Saturday, Portsmouth host Birmingham. Portsmouth who recently went into administration will be hoping to give their fans something to smile about. However, it will be difficult against a Birmingham side who will realise that this competition is their only remaining hope for glory this season.
Next up on Saturday, Fulham host Tottenham. Fulham have shown good form at home this year and will be a tough test for an erratic Tottenham side.
Sunday sees Reading host Aston Villa. Reading are the outsiders of the competition, but they will be hoping for another upset result against an Aston Villa side who lost to Man Utd in The Carling Cup Final on Sunday.
The Final game of the round sees Chelsea host Stoke. Stoke will be hoping to repeat their recent form against big opposition when they knocked out Man City in the previous round. They also have a draw against the same Chelsea side in the league.
